Gun Show Verde Valley Fairgrounds


Black Star Firearms a local business marked as an essential business will be hosting the gun show on January 30-31, 2021. This is an extension of Black Star Firearms event.

Black Star Firearms conducted the last gun show in November 2020 at the Verde Valley Fairgrounds using the main building. They have included an extra building and outdoor space for the next show to allow for more social distancing by reducing the number of tables and vendors and adding outdoor space for more distancing. The outdoor space is recommended by CDC. The show is twice as large (the size of Walmart). Face masks will be enforced along with social distancing.

Black Star Firearms has conducted 6 shows using the mandates listed below using City or County facilities. The shows were in Kingman, Lake Havasu, San Tan Valley, Show Low, Casa Grande and Williams.

Social Distancing will be encouraged by signage in the parking lot and entrance to the event and each building used for the event.

For the upcoming gun show in Cottonwood the following COVID-19 Mitigation Measures will take place.

  1. Sings and markings throughout the event to promote social distancing
  2. Reducing the number of tables at the show and making isles 8 to 10 feet wide
  3. Tables placed between vendors & participants to encourage safe distancing
  4. Clean and disinfect tables and areas before daily use
  5. Provide trash bins with hand free operation
  6. Sanitize stations throughout the show
  7. Limiting and signage for restrooms
  8. Moderate risk to include outside vendors
  9. Designate a person to address COVID-9 concerns
  10. Staff and attendees to practice good personal health habits
  11. All vendors required to wear masks
  12. All attendees required to wear face covering, masks or shields
  13. Promote and encourage outdoor activities where social distancing can be maintained
  14. Post signs in highly visible locations, parking lot with "No face mask no entry"
  15. Doors open at entrances
  16. Masks will be available at the entrance to the show if needed
  17. Sign at entrance with the following:  If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms for illness do not enter
