PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT


CITY OF COTTONWOOD IS SEEKING MEMBERS FOR IT'S PERSONNEL BOARD


The Cottonwood City Council is seeking candidates to fill a partial seat on it's Personnel Board. This seat is for an existing member, which will expire on DEcember 31, 2018. The five member board is made up of two citizens at large, who are appointed by the City Council and three City employees elected by the employees of the City, who will serve a two-year term.


The purpose of the City of Cottonwood Personnel Board is to hear appeals of employee's grievances, disciplinary actions, and dismissals in accordance with City policy and the policies set forth in the Employee Manual. The Personnel Board is also active in employee recognition programs.


If you are a resident of the City of Cottonwood interested in serving your community, please consider volunteering. Commission/board member applications are available at the Human Resources office, 816 North Main Street, Cottonwood City Hall, 827 North Main Street, by calling 928-340-2732, or online at www.cottonwoodaz.gov. Completed applications should be returned to the Human Resource office or City Hall no later than 3:00 PM on Friday, March 9, 2018.
