City of Cottonwood Transit Department Introduces Convenient Mobile Ticketing with Token Transit App

COTTONWOOD, AZ – The City of Cottonwood Transit Department is excited to announce the launch of a new, convenient way for bus riders to purchase bus passes for Cottonwood Area Transit and the Verde Shuttle. Beginning June 17, 2024, residents and visitors will be able to use the Token Transit mobile app to buy and use bus passes directly from their smartphones.

Token Transit is an established mobile ticketing app that allows passengers to purchase, store, and use bus passes digitally. The app is available for download on both iOS and Android devices. After downloading the app riders can create an account and select Cottonwood Area Transit from the “Available Agencies” list. From there, users can choose the type of pass they’d like to purchase.

The Transit Department encourages all riders to take advantage of this new ticketing option that will provide for an even better experience on our public transit system. To download the app, please visit tokentransit.com/app and select the correct link for your mobile device.

For more information, please visit tokentransit.com or contact the Transit Department at 928-634-2278.
