PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING
COTTONWOOD, AZ – The Cottonwood Planning and Zoning Commission will be holding a meeting on Monday, September 15, at 6:00 p.m., at the City Council Chambers - Riverfront, 1083 E. Riverfront Road, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
The following items are scheduled for New Business:
- CUP-25-004 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW LIVING QUARTERS IN AN I-2 (HEAVY INDUSTRIAL) ZONE.
- CUP-25-005 - A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A 5.5-FOOT-TALL FENCE IN AN AR-43 (AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAL) ZONE.
The following item is scheduled for Discussion only:
- DISCUSSION REGARDING CHANGES TO THE CITY OF COTTONWOOD ZONING ORDINANCE AND SUBDIVISON ORDINANCE.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend or send comments to the Community Development Director by noon on Friday, September 12, 2025. A verbal comment period will be provided during each hearing item. The Chair may impose a time limit on each speaker.
An agenda item may be heard at the next regularly scheduled Planning and Zoning Commission meeting due to the unexpected cancellation of this meeting or removal of the item from the agenda. Material relating to the above is available for review from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Community Development Department, 111 North Main Street in Cottonwood, (928) 634-5505.
