This is an important message from the City of Cottonwood.

During this period of construction, Main Street will be closed to traffic in both directions as well as the eastbound traffic along Mingus Avenue at the intersection. Detours will be in place throughout the duration of construction and traffic will be routed in a manner to primarily utilize, 15th, 17th, Coconino and Aspen Streets through the surrounding neighborhoods (see attached diagram). During construction the businesses located at this intersection will remain open. Residents can expect to see traffic closures, heavy equipment and work crews in the area. This work is anticipated to take two weeks to complete. Please note that the nature of the work is weather dependent and may be subject to delays.
