images1

The City of Cottonwood is allowing permitted burning of yard waste (weeds, brush, etc.) again effective today, August 1st. This is our regular scheduled permitted fall burn period that runs August 1st through the end of November. City of Cottonwood residents and businesses with valid 2019 burn permits can contact the Cottonwood Public Safety Communications Center at 928-649-1397 to determine if burning is permitted based upon weather conditions and is so, to activate their permits. Those City residents without a valid 2019 burn permit may obtain one by coming in to the Cottonwood Fire & Medical Department at 191 South 6th Street during regular business hours.
