COTTONWOOD FIRE & MEDICAL DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES OPEN HOUSE EVENT

The Cottonwood Fire & Medical Department is inviting everyone to join us at our fire station located at 191 South 6th STreet on October 17th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for our Open House event. Our Open House event is in honor of National Fire Prevention Week. The Fire Prevention Week theme this year is "Not Every Hero Wears a Cape-Plan and Practice Your Escape!". This year's campaign recognizes the everyday people who motivate their households to develop and practice a home fire escape plan; these seemingly basic behaviors can have life-saving impact. Activities will include a live propane fire demonstration, a "bounce house", corn hole and other yard games. Hot dogs, hamburgers and all the fixings will be cooked and prepared by the Cottonwood Fire and Medical personnel. Station tours and various apparatus of the Cottonwood FIre and Medical Department will be available for public viewing. So please join us for a free family night of fun!

For more information, please contact Cottonwood FIre & Medical Department at 928-634-2741.
