MUNICIPAL CANDIDATE CAMPAIGN FINANCE TRAINING
The LEague is offering a campaign finance training for municipal candidates, committee chairman and treasurers, and clerks. The training will provide an overview of how state campaign finance law applies to municipal elections, including general filing requirements and reporting deadlines and address frequently asked questions about reporting of contributions and expenses, treasurer responsibilities, committee termination requirements, and the laws involving campaign signs and advertising.
The training is directed towards municipal candidates and will not address federal campaign finance laws.
