The Parks and Recreation Department organized a new holiday program this year: Letters from Santa. Through December 20, 2020, the public can send a letter in a self-addressed envelope to Santa via the special mailbox located in the Cottonwood Recreation Center. Those who send a letter in time could receive a personal response from Santa himself in the mail, along with a special treat all the way from the North Pole!
The Angel Tree is a sign of hope and the holiday spirit every year. The Cottonwood Recreation Center hosted an angel tree this year which was adorned with many tags. Each of the tags represents a student from the Cottonwood Oak-Creek School District. This year, as a community, we gifted clothing and toys to 53 children!
The Cottonwood Parks and Recreation team would like to wish everyone in the community a warm and safe holiday season.
