Cottonwood, Ariz, September 5, 2017- Saturday September 3rd during the late evening hours, 20 year old Cottonwood resident, Adrian Bermudez Quidera, was arrested for felony flight, reckless driving, endangerment, felony criminal damage, underage DUI and underage consumption of alcohol. He was driving a white Ford Expedition southbound on Main St when he saw a police vehicle. Quidera turned his headlights off and ran from police through the parking lot of Home Depot and then into the parking lot of Fry’s. Quidera jumped the rock median that separates the upper and lower parking lots when he struck a parked and unattended pick up which was thrown from its parked position and into another parked an unattended vehicle. Quidera’s momentum continued into a cart stall causing damage and then came to rest several feet away. Quidera told officers he ran because he did not have a driver’s license. Police are waiting for the total financial loss from the victims but know it will exceed the felony threshold of one-thousand dollars. Officers are waiting on lab results to confirm Quidera’s blood alcohol level.
