City Beautification Recognition Award Program

COTTONWOOD, AZ – The City Beautification Recognition Award Program will begin accepting nominations for the 2024 starting April 1st. This program was created by the Community Development Department to promote beautification within the City of Cottonwood. Businesses can be self-nominated, or nominated by anyone in the community, by completing the online form at cottonwoodaz.gov/798/Beautification-Recognition-Program starting April 1st. Local businesses that have well-maintained/enhanced landscaping, and have been in operation for over a year are eligible to be nominated.

The winner will receive the following:

• Award presented at a City Council meeting

• A Beautification Recognition yard sign

• Press Release announcing the winner, including a social media blast

• Name and photo of business featured on the Beautification Recognition Program’s webpage

Any changes to landscaping must comply with Section 404.W (General Provisions-Use of Public Sidewalk) and Section 407 (Landscaping) of the Zoning Ordinance.
