Riverfront Park to close beginning on May 8 for Verde Valley Wine Festival Preparations

COTTONWOOD, AZ – The following is an important message from the City of Cottonwood Parks & Recreation Department. In preparation for the upcoming Verde Valley Wine Festival event on May 10, Riverfront Park will be closed to the public beginning on Thursday, May 8, 2025. The closure will remain in effect through Sunday, May 11, 2025 to allow for cleanup after the event.

We ask the public to not enter the parking lot and field by the playground as the festival setup will be taking place in these areas. We encourage the public to use amenities that will remain open such as the skate park, disc golf, skate rink, and other public parks such as the Cottonwood Kids Park and Garrison Park.

If you have questions or concerns regarding this park closure, please contact Jak Teel, Parks, Recreation & Library Director, at 928-639-3200 or jteel@cottonwoodaz.gov.
