May is National Preservation Month

COTTONWOOD, AZ – Celebrate Preservation Month this May by putting a spotlight on the people in our community who are doing the important work saving our places and building our communities through preservation!

There is no denying the role preservationists play in protecting historic spaces while meeting the needs of communities for the present and future. This May, for Preservation Month, we’re celebrating the power of place – and the countless ways, big and small, that preservation creates. The work you do strengthens communities, breathes new life into neighborhoods, supports a healthier planet, and builds a more just and connected society.

Visit the National Trust for Historic Preservation for resources and social media visuals to help you celebrate this May!  https://savingplaces.org/stories/preservation-month-2025
