Main Street Closure Between Cactus Street & Yavapai Street May 15, 2025
COTTONWOOD, AZ – On Thursday, May 15, 2025 Main Street will be closed in both directions between Cactus Street and Yavapai Street from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This closure is necessary for utility relocation work associated with the upcoming Main Street Improvements Project.
Southbound Main Street traffic will be detoured using southbound Cactus Street to eastbound Pinal Street. Southbound Main Street traffic is encouraged to utilize Groseta Ranch Road as an alternate route. Northbound Main Street traffic will be detoured using westbound Pinal Street to Northbound Cactus Street.
The City of Cottonwood would like to remind all drivers to follow temporary traffic control signs and flaggers. Access to Old Town businesses will be maintained at all times.
