COTTONWOOD, AZ – The City of Cottonwood Community Development Department is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Beautification Recognition Award Program. Local businesses that have been in operation for one year or more and exhibit landscaping that enhances the local beauty of the area are eligible to be nominated. Their landscaping will be judged on the three categories below:

  • Overall Appearance
  • Curb Appeal
  • Use of Native Plants

Businesses can be self-nominated, or nominated by anyone in the community, by completing the online form at cottonwoodaz.gov/798/Beautification-Recognition-Program. All interested persons are encouraged to nominate local businesses through our website until April 30, 2024.

All nominations will be evaluated by a panel of judges, and winners will be announced at a future City Council meeting. The winner will receive the following:

  • Award presented at a City Council meeting
  • Beautification Recognition yard sign
  • Business name mentioned in a press release announcing winners, including a social media post
