SpringHill Suites received its award at the 7/15/2025 City Council meeting.

What is the Award?

The City of Cottonwood would like to recognize local commercial properties within the City of Cottonwood limits with exceptional landscapes. Anyone may nominate a commercial property. If you have any questions, please contact:

Who is Eligible?

Local businesses in commercial properties that have well-maintained/enhanced landscaping, and have been in operation for one year or more. Must be located within the incorporated City of Cottonwood city limits.

What do Winners Receive?

• Award presented at a City Council meeting
• A Beautification Recognition yard sign
• Business mentioned in a press release announcing the winner, including a social media blast
• Name and photo of business featured on the Beautification Recognition Program’s webpage

How do I Submit a Nomination?

• Nominations will be accepted April 1, 2026 - April 30, 2026.
• Nominations may be made by the business itself or anyone in the community. 
• The submittal form is at the bottom of this page and is all online.

What is the Selection Process?

• All nominations will be evaluated by a panel of judges using a scoring rubric, evaluating elements such as curb appeal and the use of native plants. 
• Winners will be announced at a future City Council meeting and presented with their awards.
