Argument Submission Forms Regarding the 2024 Cottonwood General Plan are Currently Being Accepted by City Clerk’s Office
COTTONWOOD, AZ – On June 4, 2024, the City Council adopted the 2024 Cottonwood General Plan and sent it to the November 5, 2024 ballot for ratification by Cottonwood voters.
Notice of the Special Election (2024 Cottonwood General Plan) will be given by mailing and will include arguments for and against the City of Cottonwood 2024 General Plan to be considered at the November 5, 2024 Election. Any person interested in providing any such argument is asked to provide the same to the City Clerk’s Office by email to tmayes@cottonwoodaz.gov or eskerrett@cottonwoodaz.gov. A completed, signed hard copy is also required to be delivered to Cottonwood City Clerk’s Office located at 824 North Main Street, Cottonwood, Arizona 86326 on or before 5:00 p.m., Arizona time, on Monday, August 12, 2024.

A paper copy of the plan is available for review at City Hall, 827 N. Main Street, the Cottonwood Public Library, 100 S. 6th Street, and the Community Development office, 111 N. Main Street. To view the plan online, please visit cottonwoodaz.gov/157/Community-Development. Until the new plan is approved by the voters, the General Plan adopted in 2014 remains in effect.
